Not sure what you need? I’ll guide you to the right starting point.

How My Services Work

My work is built around structured training programmes designed to support you and your dog as you move forward together.

Dog training begins in a calm, controlled environment at my private paddock near Swaffham, where your dog has the space to settle and learn without pressure. From there, we gradually progress into real-world environments, helping your dog apply what they’ve learned in everyday situations.

Here’s how it works:

  • One-to-one dog training at my location near Swaffham

Most 1-1 dog training sessions and the Reactivity Programme take place at my private paddock and in local environments, so we can begin in a calm, controlled setting before gradually building towards real-world situations.

  • A progressive, step-by-step approach

We then gradually build towards real-world environments, supporting your dog to navigate everyday situations with more confidence.

  • In-home behaviour consultations

Where appropriate, behaviour consultations and some initial sessions take place in your home. This allows me to understand your dog in their own environment and decide on the most suitable next steps, which may include ongoing support at home, at my training location, or a combination of both.

What to Expect When We Work Together

Together, we take the time to understand what’s going on for your dog and find a way forward that feels right for both of you.

Step 1
Understanding Your Dog

Behaviour consultations may take place in your home, at my training location, or online, depending on your dog and the support needed.

We look at your dog’s behaviour, their environment, and what they’re finding difficult, so we can build a clear picture of how best to support them.

Step 2
Making Sense Of What’s Going On

We look at your dog’s behaviour, considering their emotional responses, coping strategies, environment, and any contributing factors that may be influencing how they respond.

This allows us to identify patterns and better understand why certain behaviours are occurring, so we can move forward with the right support.

Step 3
A Plan That Works For You And Your Dog

Based on your dog’s individual needs, we’ll create a structured training plan with clear, progressive steps to help build confidence and create lasting change.

Support may take place at home, at my training location, or a combination of both, depending on what will be most effective for your dog.

Step 4
Positive, Lasting Change

With the right support and consistent practice, we can make meaningful, lasting change in your dog’s behaviour.

Ongoing support is tailored to your dog’s progress, with sessions taking place in a range of environments to support their development, including my private paddock, local training areas, or at home where appropriate.
