One-to-one dog training at my location near Swaffham
Most 1-1 dog training sessions and the Reactivity Programme begin at my private paddock before gradually progressing into suitable real-world environments.
A progressive approach
We work at your dog’s pace, building skills and confidence step by step rather than throwing them straight into difficult situations.
In-home behaviour consultations
Where appropriate, behaviour consultations and some initial sessions take place in your home. This allows me to understand your dog in their own environment and decide on the most suitable next steps, which may include ongoing support at home, at my training location, or a combination of both.

Behaviour consultations may take place in your home, at my training location, or online, depending on your dog and the support needed.
We'll talk through your dog's history, everyday life and the concerns that have brought you to me, helping me build a clearer picture of your dog as an individual.
Step 2
Making Sense Of What’s Going On
We look at your dog’s behaviour, considering their emotional responses, coping strategies, environment, and any contributing factors that may be influencing how they respond.
Step 3
A Plan That Works For You And Your Dog
We'll develop a practical, tailored behaviour plan that addresses your dog's individual needs, with clear steps you can work on together at home and during our sessions.
Support may take place at home, at my training paddock, or in local parks and other suitable environments around Swaffham, or a combination of these, depending on what will be most effective for your dog.
Step 4
Building Skills for Everyday Life
With the right support and consistent practice, we can help your dog build skills and feel more able to cope with everyday life.
Ongoing support is tailored to your dog’s progress, with sessions taking place in a range of environments to support their development, including my private paddock, local training areas, or at home where appropriate.

If your dog’s behaviour has suddenly changed, please consult your vet to rule out underlying medical issues.
Some UK pet insurance policies may cover the cost of behaviour consultations when carried out by a suitably qualified behaviourist.
To qualify, many insurers require a veterinary referral before behavioural support begins. If your policy covers behaviour treatment, please check its specific requirements with your insurer.
