Behaviour consulTation

With so much conflicting advice available online about dog behaviour and training, it can be really difficult for caregivers to decipher which is good advice and what could make your dog’s behaviour even worse. During the Behaviour and Training Consultation I will assess your dog’s behaviour based on the information provided, my own observations and our discussion during the consultation process. We explore underlying reasons for your dog’s behaviour, focussing on emotional, physical and mental wellbeing and then work through appropriate exercises to help your dog progress and succeed so we can create positive behaviour changes.

We have a large, private enclosed outdoor space for Training and Behaviour Consultations, but also offer in-home consultations. For dogs who may struggle with in person sessions or if you are further afield we offer online consultations.

Please get in touch by completing the Behaviour Questionnaire below to start the process! You will find current availability for Consultations at our Training Field. Please contact me directly for availability for an in home consultation or indicate this requirement when you complete the questionnaire and I will contact you. If you have recently adopted a dog from RSPCA West Norfolk, you may be entitled to a Consultation funded by RSPCA West Norfolk. Please contact the centre or message me with your dog’s name and date of adoption to check eligibility.

Follow up sessions are usually recommended. This will depend upon your dog’s individual needs and recommendations will be made following the initial consultation. Sometimes these sessions can be conducted at our training field. If your dog’s behaviour has changed or worsened it is advisable to arrange a vet check to rule out any underlying medical issues contributing towards the behaviour.
