About Me

I am an Accredited and Certified Dog Behaviourist and Trainer based in Norfolk, dedicated to helping dogs and their people. I am proud to offer ethical and humane methods to support dogs of all ages, types and backgrounds. I am committed to the use of positive, kind methods rooted in science, compassion and a deep understanding of canine behaviour, ensuring that every dog’s wellbeing remains at the heart of my work.

I am proud to be accredited by INTODogs, ICAN, Animal Centred Education (ACE) and the Pet Professional Accreditation Board (PPAB), organisations that uphold the highest ethical standards in dog behaviour and training. I hold an Enhanced Level 5 Qualification in Canine Behaviour (Distinction) and continuously expand my knowledge through workshops, conferences and continuing education.

Seeking help with your dog’s behaviour can feel like a big step and I understand how important it is to access non-judgemental support from a qualified professional. We can work together to improve your dog’s behaviour and strengthen your bond.

My background includes extensive experience in rescue work, both paid and voluntary, giving me invaluable insight into the challenges faced by dogs from all walks of life. I have fostered dogs for a large charity and worked with a wide range of breeds and behavioural issues. My passion for rescue extends to my own home where I am happily owned by 4 Labradors (2 rescues) and a Border Collie (rescue).

I am also proud to be able to display the UK Dog Behaviour & Training Charter logo. Please check out the Charter website to see what assurances this brings (www.dogcharter.uk)

If you are looking for kind, knowledgeable and supportive guidance in understanding and improving your dog’s behaviour, I would love to help!

Science Based, Ethical Training for Dogs of all life stages

  • Behaviour

With so much conflicting advice available online about dog behaviour, it can be really difficult to decipher what is good advice and what could make your dog’s behaviour even worse.

During the Behaviour and Training Consultation I will assess your dog’s behaviour based on the information provided, my own observations and our discussion during the consultation process.

Underlying reasons for your dog’s behaviour will be explored and we will then work through appropriate exercises to help your dog succeed so we can create positive and lasting behaviour changes.

Any sudden change in behaviour could be indicative of an underlying health issue and a thorough vet check is recommended.

  • Dog Training

Whether you would like to focus on teaching your dog how to walk on a loose lead instead of pulling or wish to take your recall training to the next level, or work on calmness, building confidence and good manners to make life for you and your dog more enjoyable, please get in touch.

Helping you to understand and support your canine companion so you can enjoy a more fulfilling relationship based on mutual trust and understanding.

  • Puppy Training

Guidance for you and your puppy right through puppyhood with 1-1 training, small group classes or a combination of both for as much or as little training as you need.

Relationship focussed, positive reinforcement training focussing on teaching your puppy valuable life skills to support them on the journey towards being a well mannered, happy, sociable dog.

Puppy training support is available from the very start ,with in-home puppy sessions (or online consultations) to get you and your puppy off to a great start and prevent behaviour problems developing. Support is available though puppyhood and the adolescent phase, into adulthood!

  • Helping you to build a better relationship with your dog based on mutual trust and understanding.
