About Me

I am an Accredited and Certified Dog Behaviourist and Trainer based in Norfolk, dedicated to helping dogs and their families. I am proud to offer ethical and humane methods to support dogs of all ages, types and backgrounds. I am committed to the use of positive, kind methods rooted in science, compassion and a deep understanding of canine behaviour, ensuring that every dog’s wellbeing remains at the heart of my work.

I am proud to be accredited by INTODogs, ICAN, Animal Centred Education (ACE) and the Pet Professional Accreditation Board (PPAB), organisations that uphold the highest ethical standards in dog behaviour and training. I hold an Enhanced Level 5 Qualification in Canine Behaviour (Distinction) and continuously expand my knowledge through workshops, conferences and continuing education.

Seeking help with your dog’s behaviour can feel like a big step and I understand how important it is to access non-judgemental support from a qualified professional you can trust. We can work together to improve your dog’s behaviour and strengthen your bond, without using methods which cause fear or just suppress your dog’s behaviour. By using a holistic approach we can treat the root causes of your dog’s behaviour and implement strategies to support lasting behaviour change.

My background includes extensive experience in rescue work, both paid and voluntary, giving me invaluable insight into the challenges faced by dogs from all walks of life. I have fostered dogs for a large charity and worked with a wide range of breeds and behavioural issues. My passion for rescue extends to my own home where I am happily owned by 4 Labradors (2 rescues) and a Border Collie (rescue).

I am also proud to be able to display the UK Dog Behaviour & Training Charter logo. Please check out the Charter website to see what assurances this brings (www.dogcharter.uk)

If you are looking for kind, knowledgeable and supportive guidance in understanding and improving your dog’s behaviour, I would love to help!

Science Based, Ethical Training for Dogs of all life stages

  • Personalised Behaviour Support

Feeling overwhelmed by conflicting advice about your dog’s behaviour? You are not alone and as an Accredited and Certified Dog Behaviourist I can help you.

Every dog is unique, so we will work together to understand why your dog is struggling and create practical steps tailored to you and your dog to help them move forward.

Sessions are available in your home, at my private enclosed paddock or online. Wherever we meet, the focus is always on understanding your dog as an individual and supporting meaningful behaviour change, with your dog's emotional, physical and mental wellbeing at the heart of everything we do.

You will need to complete a Behaviour Questionnaire before we meet and a vet check will be recommended if your dog’s behaviour has suddenly or recently changed.

  • Dog Training

Whether you would like to improve your dog’s loose lead walking skills, take your dog’s recall to the next level, build calmness and confidence or work on everyday manners - I am here to help you and your dog enjoy life together more easily.

My focus is on helping you understand and support your dog in a way that builds a stronger, more fulfilling relationship based on mutual trust and understanding.

  • Puppy Training

Support for you and your puppy from the very beginning.

Whether you are welcoming a new puppy into your home or navigating the ups and downs of adolescence, I offer kind and effective training tailored to your puppy’s individual needs.

Choose from 1-1 sessions, small group classes or a combination of both - for as much or as little guidance as you need.

Using positive reinforcement and a calm, supportive approach, we will focus on skills which really matter. Building confidence, developing calmness, creating reliable habits and helping your puppy grow into a well-mannered, happy and sociable dog.

Support is available throughout every stage of puppyhood, including in-home sessions or online sessions to get things off to a great start and help to prevent future behaviour challenges.

  • Helping you to build a better relationship with your dog based on mutual trust and understanding.
